Galaxy Note - Does it make sense buying one now?

Ok, thanks for all the replies!! Bought a Note @ 26.4k on Zoomin (the 12-12-12 sale) :) @manu1991 my budget was a strict 30k, and HS18 anyways doesn't ship to Pune, so that wasn't much of an option..thx tho! As for why i took the plunge, I tried out a Note on ICS. The experience was damn good...

Galaxy Note - Does it make sense buying one now?

@Switch interesting suggestion..I'd thought of a Nexus 4 , but I don't want to get into the hassle of ordering one from the States through PPOBox etc. I don't want to wait for the 6-8 weeks currently being quoted either. So well, back to Note or S3. @mitraark hope you get the opportunity soon...

Galaxy Note - Does it make sense buying one now?

Hello All. Haven't been active for a long time, sorry about that. Coming to the point, does it make sense, from a purely future-proofing point of view, to go for a Note N7000? I have to choose between the S3 and the Note. Note II is not a choice (budget constraints). As for the purpose of my...

WP Nokia Lumia 920 - Discussion thread

Hello all. I'm back here after a long time, I've been really interested in (and been closely following) the Lumia WP8 devices since August. Cutting a long story short, I'm keeping tabs on the Saholic page of the 820 and 920; the 920 page says its coming on 15/01/13 (which seems to be a default...

    Laptop recommendations~ Budget Max 70 K

Hey, if you can lower your screen size requirements slightly (to a 14 incher) then do check out the VAIO E series 14P http://www.sony.co.i... It offers a 3rd gen i7-3612 proc, a radeon 7670 (switchable with HD graphics 4000), backlit keyboard, HD webcam, a 1600x900 HD+ screen and a rather...

dell xps15 vs to be launched lenovo y-570d --which one is better

Sorry for adding options, but if you haven't considered it then please check out the Sony VAIO C-series, especially the VPCCB15FG. Intel Core i5-2410M, 4GB 1333MHz RAM, 500 GB 7200 rpm HDD, Radeon HD 6630M, Full HD 1080p screen , backlit keyboard, much improved battery life, and the usual VAIO...

plz suggest a laptop 55-60k total

If the i7 is not an absolute necessity, you can have a look at the Sony Vaio C-series, especially the VPCCB15FG. You get an i5-2410M processor, a 7200 rpm HDD, and a radeon HD6630M which is somewhere between the GT540M and the GT525M, but since you won't be into hardcore gaming, it should...

~ The Mobile Phone Advisor ~

@ madnav Android phones in that price range are pretty rare...the Xperia x10 mini launched recently just about falls into that bracket. However it does not even have an on-screen QWERTY keypad, and the 2.55" screen may prove to be too small for some. HTC wildfire - launching in a month- might...

    Suggest a Cellphone, very urgent

Your only CDMA option is the samsung corby speed, which isn't exactly 3G-standard, and if you don't want samsung, its oyut of the question(not to mention lack of GPS). For GSM, 5235 seems to be ur best bet- great audio/video playback, free GPS, free 1 yr music subscription...hard to beat at...

~ The Mobile Phone Advisor ~

@metalspree, The 5230 and 5235 both have a huge 1320 MaH battery which should be exactly what you want.Neither has Wi-fi, but if you don't want that then these phones are excellent VFM. 5235 gets a 1 yr unlimited music subscription and a blue chrome lining. @gaurish, X6 16 GB all the way...

    WTB a Decent Phone

If you're fine with using a data connection ie GPRS for ur GPS then you can consider phones other than Nokia...look out for the Android-based HTC Wildfire coming out next month. Also you can give the Xperia x10 mini a look bt the 2.55" screen may prove to be too small for ur multimedia needs. If...

    Suggestions around 15K?

I don't think the Desire is going to come down to 15k anytime in the near future and definitely not by month end. You could take a look at the Wildfire, it was announced a couple of weeks ago and has most of the features of the desire. it should be here by late june or early july

    Planning to Buy SE ViVaz

Build quality- 6/10. Nokia is miles ahead here. Looks- 8/10. The general look and feel - except some parts of the symbian UI - is excellent and gives an upmarket feel. The 'Human Curvature' design ie the way the back of the handset is curved so as to fit better into the palm of one's hand is...

    Planning to Buy SE ViVaz

yeah i used it for a while, the build quality is nothing to write home about. Removing the battery cover is a nightmare-it always gives the impression its gonna break. menus are slightly sluggish, but the media capabilities are excellent. The camera is great, and so are its video playback and...

    QWERTY Slider Phone's

For the record, all touchscreen phones-barring the samsung Monte S5620- come with an on-screen QWERTY keypad and I'm quite comfortable using that to type, but this is a matter of pesonal taste.
