i5 6600k is the current best! It's unlocked and so you can overclock! Plus these unlocked processors are not available with fans! So an aftermarket cooler fan is sort of mandatory!

My bad! It doesn't come with a cooler! I read about the older generation! K series have stopped providing the fan! So now you will have to buy a fan!

Yes! For sure, you can keep it for future upgrade! As is the 6700k performs good with stock cooler! And if at all you need to OC, then OC till you need, then reset the clocks when need is done! One more thing, if you are already pushing the fan for later, then put an extra 2k for a Z170 mobo!
