is this a laptop or PC? then it mostlikely does not have a built in GPS and is estimating your location using IP and certain other factors. So won't be accurate.

amazon's customer service are usually pretty good. If warranty is mentioned in the listing it should be valid but may be lesser than normal. personally never felt the price difference worth it to get an inferior product.
