OLD OS in Hard Disk wont boot into new Mother Board, cuz OS startup files will be stored in the motherboard ROM. Still you can install a new OS in another drive and can back up the exiting files later.

HTC One has a Good design and feel and look. S4 good Specs and good software goodies.

Have upgraded the Phone with Leaked JB Rom long ago. It itself was very stable and love the JB ROM.

Your points are completely valid. What i would suggest is, get away from such sites and do not give 1% of belief to others that it might be true. Atlast they will have to regret. Turn to MouthShut.com or other such review sites before buying online. Check for the FaceBook page too.

Move on to Windows 8. Faster Boot up time. And Cool interface to work with. Win 7 is gud. But Win 8 is better.

You can go for 40" if 8 feet is the distance. Prices in Grey market is good only if the TV is LED. Else its costly if you ask me for LCD TVs as they are no longer manufactured. You can Stick to Sony or Samsung. But dont expect video chat or Browsing. Get a Phone and connect via HDMI if you want...
