Don't know if this point is relevant, but they allow only 5 devices to be connected via the wifi, bound by MAC ids ( i think) Luckily i have less than that, but it is a pain in case of visitors, or just using some devices temporarily.

The biggest downside with this device would be its need for internet coupled with a lack of wifi zones in india. Even a CCD which claims to have wifi, doesnt allow you to access almost anything on its network!

I really don't think they are going to face issues. Maybe in populated parts of metros, yes, where cable BB players can muscle in. But elsewhere I see Airtel providing good service, like in my area of Chennai, where there are no cable operators and my only other option is Tata (crappy overhead...

Why don't you upgrade to a better Airtel plan if your company is going to boot the bill? Like indy mentioned, their CC is good, and hassle-free.

@ashu: The Airport Link train stop is there in Pratunam, so it was very useful while checking out of the hotel, just walking 150 meters, and catching a train to the airport
