Selling my 1st gen airpods pro as I got a 2nd gen from work recently. This has been working flawlessly. Few scratches from regular usage. Cable and other eartips are pretty much untouched. I can also throw in the minions case if you want. I prefer a local deal, will ship at buyer's risk.

I feel you, it's a terrible situation. Unfortunately, only the seller can take it back. You'll need to reach out to them somehow. Also see if you can raise a dispute with your card/bank, if you did use one at all. Yours looks much more fake than mine, so it's easier to prove it is one.

Amazon are finally going to take it back and do a refund. The trick was to cc Jeff Bezos lol. I’m not kidding. A kind stranger on Reddit suggested me to do this and it worked.

It hasn’t moved much. Mostly getting template responses from Amazon. SBI said they are looking into the case for chargeback. iOS 16 warns about fake AirPods, I’ve sent them that as well.

I'd been to another service center. They really did try to help me out but they couldn't generate any report for me with that serial no. since it would affect the actual user. There seems to be some escalation happening internally with Amazon and they have asked for a few additional details...

Amazon says the pictures are not enough to prove they're counterfeit. They're asking for a letter from Apple saying it's not genuine which the service center was not willing to give.

The service center folks didn't even want to touch it. They said right away that its fake and didn't want to do anything with it. Looks like I'm kinda stuck with it for now. Will raise a chargeback on the card and cross my fingers.
