I don't know about the Lagom test but what I've seen in most of the Dell S2409W reviews over the net is it has got Audio Lagging problems with HDMI output. Check this before making purchase.
I heard from one of our TE dealer that ST2410 has been discontinued by the Dell. And you are right about S2409W-features wise it is on par with the ST2410 (in some features it is better than ST2410). If the pricing is around 13k then it is a better buy.
Also look into BenQ E and G series both...
@Madovkvicky-what is your budget? Currently Dell G2410 and BenQ V2400 Eco are available under 16k.
@Vercetti-No problemo buddy.
TBH, M2400HD is bit pricey for a TN Panel (had this been available for around 13k then it would be much better VFM)
BenQ G2420HD (around 11k) Has 1 HDMI port, DVI, VGA, and Headphone Jack
BenQ E2420HD (around 12k) Has 2 HDMI ports, DVI, VGA, 4 USB ports, Audio In and Out, Headphone Jack
Dell ST2410 (around 13k) Has 1 HDMI port, DVI, VGA and Headphone Jack
^^I don't know from where you got that notion, but here is the official BenQ link OF M2400HD http://www.benq.co.in/products/LCD/?product=1378
It clearly states the model as LCD not LED if you still have doubts
I have decided to go for BenQ G2420HD,got a decent quote(Rs 10,800 + Shipping) from TE dealer itself. Now waiting for the confirmation from the dealer on availability.
^^It still TN panel with poor viewing angle. Also,various reviews of G2410 states that it does not justify its price(except being LED). Check some of the reviews before making the final decision.
^^Not much. Except for VLC(Uses its own set of Splitter/Codecs) the rest of the players are based on directshow filters installed in the system. The image quality can be fine tuned in a better way with players liek KMp, GOM due to their extensive custom filter chain options. In general, HD files...
For Videos - VLC, Media player Classic Home Cinema, KM Player, GOM Player all these perform nearly same with wide variety of Codec/File format support (i.e. without needing to install any separate Codec Pack).
My favorite among the above is KM Player due to its extensively customizable options.
@Asingh-Thanks a lot for sharing that link of yours (Very Informative)
@Mndar-Thanks for suggesting that dell model with your experience. It does look awesome but is this available in India?
