True that Gannu. :) As I mentioned earlier in this thread.... those were days, where playing for over 24 hours was hardly anything, now it's hard for me to sit over 5 hours playing. Even I wonder at myself, for pulling off 43 hours at Quake2 back in the days... then again, Quake2 was legendary...

The TED (not that TED, but the Torrent Episode Downloader) app shows September 26th as the air date for Season 6 for Dexter.... so unless that changes, we can all look forward for our favorite serial killer to be back at September End. :ohyeah:

Re: The Photography Thread ! ^ Ahem... When I said decent, I didn't mean the word "Decent" from SunnyBoi's dictionary. :P A good entry level manfrotto tripod with should not cost you more than 10-11k. Heck, forget manfrotto... you can get a good not-so-known brand tripod under 10k if you check...

@Fah33m: Good snaps... Now stop blowing money on other things and invest in a decent tripod. You'll get more out of your sigma with tripod than IS/OS/VR (and all other freakin acronyms).

@bluffmaster: It's not much of an issue with FPS drop... but it actual quality update. The marketing video by EA shows some of the differences, which are quite nice. However, judging by the comparison screenshots from various reviews, it's hard to spot the difference between regular and hi-res...

True... Read couple of reviews with comparison shots... Frankly speaking, I was unable to stop difference between regular textures and Hi-res textures. Ultra settings seem to have added extra tessellation and more objects to the scene. Also, is SSAO limited to ultra settings? Difficult to tell...

I don't have Metro installed anymore, but when I had I didn't face this issue with Tessellation. The last I played Metro 2033 was on HD5770 on 11.5 drivers.

Microsoft Security Essentials, period. Been using it since it was introduced and had no problems whatsoever. To put it in perspective, using it on 6 desktops, with 6 different users, 4 not very tech savvy (kind of people who aren't aware much about threats on Internet).

@Kauzy & Metalspree: You can do remote wipe and locking on first gen iPads, even on WiFi only models as well. The only catch is that the iPad has to be connected to internet for it to work. As soon as it gets on WiFi it will show up in "Find My iPad" feature (in web browser or your iPhone)...

Same here... no notification via auto-update mechanism yet. Think I'll also wait till it comes in auto-update. Regardless that minor thing, feature list does look good. Specifically, remote access and portable mode. :)
