Dude, no offense but your opinion and maths both are a bit off-putting. Rs. 85,000 for 4080 used, and Rs. 1,02,000 for new, that's 20% more, not 10%. Thanks for your contribution, but I don't think you are helping anymore.
You are saying bunch of things which are unlikely in real world cases, as it depends on configuration. You are correct, I’m not the tier one buyer. But it is also clear that you were trying to promote/sell your GPU with the first post, and I wish you luck for that.
I don't want to lose the DLSS 3 Frame Generation that is only there with RTX 40 series cards. Also, you are contradicting your point on Warranty now, with the 30 series I will lose 21-24 months of warranty vs 9 months with a used 4080; this also in exchange of 15k savings (RTX 3090 @70k vs RTX...

I think I have found my sweet spot with RTX 4080 now with all the info (as 4070 Ti new @75-76k vs. 4080 used @83-85k), considering 4K@60fps for 1-2 years without worrying and QHD@60fps+ for the next 5-6 years, pretty much assured. But I cannot justify spending 20-22k more to buy a new 4080 vs...
But if I prefer higher refresh rate like 90-120 fps, and willing to notch down the resolution to 1440p, would a 4070 suffice or I have to get the 4080?
Is RTX 4080 significantly better than RTX 4070? I have seen a 4070 for 55k on a WhatsApp group, and one 4080 for 87k on this forum. Confused cuz of the price difference
