Front loading or top loading washing machine?

No, Just Cotton Cycle which has AI DD. Cotton+ doesn't have that. Cotton+ might be better tuned for larger cotton items like bedsheets. However, I am yet to find the effective difference.

Only possible way. Dual refraction makes it harder. One has to explore multiple angles to get one best possible view. With the level of marketing Samsung had with their new AI lineup and sponsored content both online and offline, I was almost convinced to get their 9 KG variant. Thankfully, my...

Front loading or top loading washing machine?

Yes. However, it's very tough to view clearly through the tinted glass. Definitely, if same type of motor with only different power ratings are used. Stress also depends on how well the machine balances the clothes before ramming into RPM. This is where LG completely shines over Samsung, since...

Front loading or top loading washing machine?

Imagine same amount of water filled into same volumetric drum having different diameter and depth. Which one do you think will have higher vertical level of water at bottom? Of course the one with lower depth and higher dia. Higher vertical level of water ensures better dipping of clothes each...

Front loading or top loading washing machine?

Opening door dia of both 140 and 120 series are same. Higher inside drum dia enhances the water exposure to clothes resulting in faster wash and Easy Add Item feature. Even clothes drying is slightly better given they end up experiencing higher torque at same RPM. That's why I didn't notice any...

Front loading or top loading washing machine?

Front loaders use significantly lower amount of power for similar cycle. Torque required for agitating a vertical bucket full of water filled clothes is way higher than a rolling tub 20% filled at bottom. FLWs consume more energy on heater and during drying due to higher RPM, which is fraction...

Front loading or top loading washing machine?

Yes, until we peek closely. Experimented with wide spectrum of fabrics from soft teddy bears to thick blankets. I can satisfactorily conclude wash quality is excellent. Cotton, Mixed Fabrics and Easy Care have AI motion which does make a noticable difference in water consumption, wash quality...

Front loading or top loading washing machine?

Approx. 20.8 inches diameter and 11 inches depth. @MrGordon May provide accurate dimensions. Couldn't spot difference in drying of this and the 1400 RPM old LG machine of my neighbour, at their highest RPM.
