i will recomend Karthi007's conf. Also, if he is going to play batman, ill recommend an Nvidia GPU. depends on the game you play. For Batman, 250 is better i guess.

i was able to unlock.. but booting into windows caused BSOD. Better try with an unmodded bios first. And if it is working, try with an older version of the bios which is modded.

for me, the modded bios didnt work the first time. i had to take a modded version of an older bios. try with a good un-modded bios first.

Not always true. MPEG4 give almost same to slightly better quality than MPEG2. No. You need to have HDMI out in the STB to do that.

if u choose an AMD config instead, you can fit that inside 60K. Since you are using the rig mainly for gaming, the CPU wont matter that much.

get core i7 860 with 4gb ram. the difference will be only 3k. any way, if you are that much tight on ur budget, i would recommend core i7 860 with 2gb. after a moth or two, you can add the additional 2GB. If you choose i5 now, you cant replace it easily with core i7 860.
