Re: HDTV buying advice thread I checked the LA40C530 in 3 different places in Mumbai. All 3 had had the AA01 panel. Confused if I should go for the 40C530. Is the difference in PQ between AA and SQ obvious? Is it worth spending 50k on this model if you are going to get the AA panel?

I was one of those getting much greater speeds on my MTNL connection than my plan allowed. But it seems MTNL just realized this and after a few hours of no service, the speeds are much lower than earlier. Anyone of this forum noticed much slower speeds in the past two days?

Well, I will probably install Fedora 10 on this machine and build some virtual machines on VMWare server. I know 4 GB is enough for that too, but I am not sure if 4 GB is going to be enough for me two years down the line.

Does a config like this really need a powerful SMPS? I thought the need for such an SMPS arises only when you have one of those display cards. Or do these "better" PSUs reduce power consumption enough to justify the price premium.
