Yaar I also checked it out on the site, but I guess even MTNL people don't know about this plan. I went to Sancharhat and it seems that they are unaware of any such sachet plan. Moreover, none of the dealers know about this one.

Got the MTNL 3g sim today. Tethering through my Samsung Galaxy S. The speeds are very good.. and has been consistent. Will try with 21 rs recharges for a few days and then will go for 6 months plan if the speeds remain consistent... Just a doubt in my mind. Would tethering for long time...

Why don't you check your detailed usage in the Tata Indicom portal. It gives the detailed per session usage.

People using MTNL 3g are reporting speeds around 1.5-2.5 Mbps

Yes the shceme is back. I visited the Sancharhat, and as per them the 3g USB stick is out of stock. They are not sure when these would be available. Can anyone suggest, if any other USB device could be used for MTNL 3g?
