the display isnt too good on this monitor(G2220 HD), ive seen it. i dont think it has speakers either.

i saw benq g2412 today in croma, compared it with other models like samsung.....it didnt look very impressive in looks and display(graphics). I noticed the contrast or something wasnt quite right, the samsung monitor looked sharper.....this is what i observed.

one of the main reasons why im buying this is because i want it to double as a monitor for my pc as well as my xbox 360 console. So do you think i could run my console on this if i used a DVI to HDMI converter(if something like that exists), would there be any loss in quality if i connect it...

i know......after my "past experiences" i try to keep away from samsung monitors :) Well now am clear about the HD part :).....but why no HDMI ports in these Samsung monitors, unless its a cost cutting technique.

FYI. Talked to customer care Samsung today, they said P2350 is not Full HD but HD compatible, only P2250 is Full HD.

Thats the whole point your missing, is it mentioned officially anywhere that its an HD monitor. The link that you've given is of the australian site, which might have a variation in the model. If you look at the Samsung site, TVs that support HD are mentioned to be HD TVs or Full HD, etc...

I was just curious if this is a HD monitor at all, because nowhere is it mentioned that this is a full HDTV. Even on Samsung's own website nothing is mentioned about it being full HD, neither does it have HDMI. Even the other Samsung models like 2233sw & P2250 are not said to be full HD on their...
