A update of my orderlist. NE5532AP opamps 604-1119-ND 10uF 50v (Elna RFS) (C41, C46, C45, C34, C50, C52) I have the newer MX with 1uF here, so I´ll just leave that as is (C61, C54) BC2083-ND for crossover P10321-ND for the second crossover (the back to back soldering thingy)

U used the P10318-ND 22uF if I remember correctly for the signal path. Size and price is the same for both the 10uF and 22uF ones. BC2083 u say, aren´t they kinda hard to solder because of their shape?

Just got my MX5021:s. I got a good deal on a used set, but in mint condition. I still have my Z2300, and I´ve tested them both now back to back. And what can I say. The unmodded MX5021 blow the Z2300 away. Can´t see how some people choose the Z2300 over MX5021. Can´t imagen how this set...

How does the unmodded MX5021 compare to other better setups? And how do they perform after these mods compared to more expensive setups?

Thx for fast reply. Right now i have the Logitech Z2300. And well, they do sound good and loud, but the bas is too much, even turned down. I would like to have more "audiophile" speakers. Will the new MX5021 sound better then my Z2300?

I have a chance to buy a set of MX5021, but it´s the new lot. The one that has been cost cut. How much worse is the new to the old and can I still mod it to make it better.

Thinking of getting rid of my Logitech Z-2300 and getting the MX 5021. Of course I found this guide. I have never worked with this kind of stuff, so I´m completly lost here. My main question is, would only changing the opamps make a signifact difference? I was thinking Burr Brown OPA2134.
