Thanks for the help, guys. Purchased the PC today, got an i5 and HD 6850 by Sapphire.

anybody else in favor of the x6 with some reasonable reasoning? I'm inclining towards the i5 more and more. I hear ATI drivers aren't as good as nVidia, so the 550Ti is a better buy. any contradictions..?

My Main Question is should I get the AMD Phenom which has 6 cores or the Intel Core i5? I googled, and i5 outperformed the AMD Phenom but I'm just a casual gamer with no encoding/overclocking needs. AMD kit costs me cheaper and is also future proof because of the extra cores. Thanks. :) Q...
