I bought and mounted the SSD to the adaptor shown by @Heisen but it would not fit into the drive cage, which is 11 cm wide rather than 10 cm. See attached images. The upshot was that I used double sided-sticky foam tape and affixed the adaptor to the top of the cage as shown. Thanks to @iPwnz. :)

Thanks to the excellent suggestions given here. I did not know of anti-static brushes and Kim wipes. I ended up buying a Bosch blower. Cleaning the motherboard also solved another problem I reported at this forum. Cheers!
