Budget 31-40k Laptop for casual usage

If main use is media consumption, I would recommend getting a Xiaomi Pad 6 or something similar. You can buy 12th gen i3 laptops for 35k ish - https://www.amazon.in/Acer-i3-1215U-Premium-Windows-AL15-52/dp/B0CM6GVR56 is an acer option, but every laptop maker will have a similar configuration...

    Dock dilemma

Any particular reason you are going with a thunderbolt dock? AFAIK, a KVM switch would be much much cheaper and get the job done, granted they usually don't come with LAN. Also, how many input types do the monitor support? Just HDMI, or do they have DP port/DVI, etc?

    Budget 51-70k Mid-range SFF build

I would recommend node 202 or Ridge, but you would have to get a decent CPU cooler. Since you are using Ryzen 5, you might not need an AIO. Personally I have Node 202, and it is more backpackable than something like the H1. Dan A4 could be another option.

iOS Trackpad/gesture supported mouse recommendations for iPad Air

I tried a similar case, but the cursor tracking wasn't smooth. Not sure if its a bluetooth thing (As my Orochi also feels bit jittery) or just a shitty trackpad.

iOS Trackpad/gesture supported mouse recommendations for iPad Air

I went to Croma nearby and was able to try out the apple magic keyboard. Holy hell the gestures and scrolling work sooo smooth. Makes using the iPad a very pleasant experience. Even with my mouse I am having a sucky tracking experience. Now I have chucked the idea of getting a trackpad, because...

How Relevant is Syntax after LLMs

The latest 3b1b video explains LLMs quite nicely, and after watching it you’ll kinda figure out syntax is indeed important, at least at the beginning - And yes, if you gain the fundamental understandings of how data structure works, then syntax becomes secondary. It’s like knowing words of a...

PC Peripherals What wireless mouse is everyone using and how long have you been using it?

I used G602 and got spoiled with all the side buttons. Weirdly, it’s the mouse sensor that died, the buttons still worked fine. I bought a G604, it has a weird issue where buttons don’t click if I left the battery on the device overnight ‍♂️ if I remove the battery after use, and only put it...

This doesn’t have USB C, however PM your price. I can use the interface via USB A, but with reduced bitrate.

iOS Trackpad/gesture supported mouse recommendations for iPad Air

I have a Keychron K4 back in Sweden, so not looking for a keyboard as such lol. Orochi v2 is a perfect fit for me, how does MX Anywhere accomplish gestures? By mapping them to different buttons? I will see if I can do something similar with the side buttons of Oroochi, that would make things...

iOS Trackpad/gesture supported mouse recommendations for iPad Air

I’ve been using the iPad Air with my Bluetooth keyboard + Orochi v2 for ~5 days. My thoughts - The keyboard is pretty serviceable, and gives decent typing experience when kept on top of table. Working on any surface apart from table (ex. While lounging on the sofa) is a no go The mouse tracks...

The Contradictory Findings of Scientific Studies on Intermittent Fasting: Fresh new one claims that "It kills you"

Only the top 2-3 results are from scientific papers, rest are all from news papers. IMO, newspapers are good for spreading awareness, but it can be detremental, For many fields research is ongoing (As it should be, we never have all the answers, for all the conditions!). Anyone who wants to try...

Budget 51-70k Lightweight workhorse that goes on and on

The deal with Excel on Mac is, it behaves bit differently than Windows, ex. When filtering a column, in excel you make your selections, click on, then the rows are updated, whereas on mac, it updates live. But if you’re looking for battery, you cant go wrong with a MacBook. The screenshotting...

    The Amazon Prime Exchange Experience

I got a "Thunder edition" Mi A1 when I dropped it on Asphalt road. My Redmi 2s - which I dropped from flight of stairs like 4 times in 2 years - was dropped gingerly from 3 inches from ground and the display cracked. As JerryRig says, glass is glass, and glass breaks. Hope you have a fun...

Other Leave back-up mobile switched off or keep on?

From what I know, keeping the battery at ~50% means the electrodes in battery will be in sort of eqilibrium, hence will cause minimal wear. Just make sure its not in a humid place.

Other Leave back-up mobile switched off or keep on?

Charge the phone to 50%ish, then turn it off and store. When you want to use it, just top it off, and before storing it away let the battery drop to 50%, then store it back,
