OG DRAM mafia is @rsaeon @desi_gamer
They both hold north of 1tb of ddr4 sticks
Any deal is a good deal these days. But that is low. That’s a price I’d only consider for members of this forum that I have benefited from, not randos on fb or olx.
@desi_gamer sold his sticks at 14k each last month, I sold two sticks of patriot memory for 20k each about a week before him.
I wouldn’t have sold but a maternal uncle had financial difficulty and this was the easiest way to get funds.
I am tempted to sell more and switch to ECC RDIMMs but it sounds like a lot of work to migrate everything over.
But I am thinking I might sell one of my 128gb systems here in a week or two so I can replace it with a 3d printer.
Correct. That was per 32GB stick, dual rank, no bill, in bulk (set of 10).
Count me in if you ever come across fairly priced ECC RAM, DDR4/5 both.
What is a fair price according to you in the current market for ecc ram both ddr4/5
It’s completely relative and depends on supply-demand. But for today, I’d say under ~25k per 32GB DDR5 and 15k for DDR4, both ECC.
Mines even got bill & only 3 months old
Then yours could be sold for higher prices.
My thoughts: new 16GB is coming for 16000 (cl18 3600mhz)
then I think old one should be at least 10-12K depending on the market condition.. but not 50% like 8000 etc, that is not possible discount as the market condition is something else.
Depends on the age and condition of the ram. Also if warranty is there or not.
Have been looking for 8GB DDR 4, did not get any good deals, pretty high
