Need a pair of used HDDs for a reliable NAS system.
Already have a year old WD external hdd which I got in the sale last year. I will only need a single hdd if I happen to get the same model.
I have a Pair of Seagate Exos 18tb Drives in NAS. In warranty till May 2026.
I’m not using much, let me know if that fits your requirements

Hi, I am not interested in the drive sorry.
Just want to know what went wrong. How can it be DOA? It has 3yrs warranty, how many yrs warranty remaining. DOA enables you to exchange with seller/distributor right.
18k ea. for it is eyewatering, but considering the warranty and current scenario, its ok.
You will be getting a proper warranty of 3 years . I dropped them by mistake.

You dropped 2 drives ? 
A better deal would be to get exos 8tb for 21k with 5 years warranty but I’m not looking for new drives at this moment.

You are looking for SATA only or you are ok with SAS too ?

off-topic, but if used with a HBA card (e.g. the LSI 9300s), SAS or SATA won’t make much of a difference, right?
You need sas breakout cables. If you have them and hba, it should be enough.
