If you don’t need to stick to the same size/weight then something based on an 6/8-core U series processor. Otherwise a higher power H part in a gaming/creator type model. Ideally you’d want something with low DPC latency; most brands are comparable with the exception of Dell’s stuff.
Problem is, weight is a big issue for me. Lighter the better.
Have a look at Ryzen 5000 series hex and Octa core ultrabooks - they offer performance on par with Ibtel’s 6 and 8 cores in a much slimmer, lighter design, while still having great battery life. I think you can get a really good HP Envy or Spectre in the budget, or even an Asus Zenbook. Could also look at Lenovo ultrabooks in the Yoga/ThinkPad lineup as well

Have a look at Asus ZenBook Duo 2 (recent version) - will fit your requirements perfectly. Has a 2nd small screen that lifts up, ideal for mixing, etc.
Yes, have seen one…the mixer on the second smaller screen… really useful.
https://www.notebookcheck.net/ is usually my goto site for notebook benchmark comparisons. They do pretty comprehensive tests imo covering almost everything.
