All newbie/starter entry level DSLR information

Will the 450d also get cheaper? I’m thinking on one of the following options -

1. 450d w/kit thru grey.
2. 1000d w/IS lens w/B&W
3. Some older cam thru one of the photography forums, like 350d or 400d. (BTW, are the jjm forums down?)
   What would be the pros/cons for each option? I will be buying in a couple of months. I’ll start with the 18-55mm and get the 50mm 1.8 for indoor portraits.

Of course it will get cheaper if you wait ! That is true with ANY electronic product.

However chances are it will disappear from the market altogether once stocks vanish.
