Hi. We are four friends, two on MTNL Dialup and two on Sify ‘broadband’. I wanted to know if there are any games that we can play online by one of use setting up a server and the other three joining it. We tried MOHAA but it was completely unplayable. Also tried AoE:Conquerors but nobody can join the host (dunno why?).
Please tell me if there is any online multiplayer game with low bandwidth usage but not limited to checkers/chess/cards etc

Its a free game and a very good one IMHO.
its ranked in the top 10 Mutliplayer online FPS.
Actually world of warcraft works on modem connections, but dont know if there is any Indian distributer for this game. It seems to be awesome according to all the reviews.

most nfs’ work on my pathetic connection..so they shud work on urs too.

well…i have played nfs2 and nfs3 over dialup by directly connecting to my friends comp(by dialling his phone no ) was ok…2 was smooth 3 was a bit choppy but was good enough.
Did try Recoil also, long back. Got ok framerates in that too
