Tried joining a BR lobby just for the heck of it - got 1000+ hours in PUBG.
Sat inside the airplane with 3 others guys waiting for the other 76 to show up, in the end quit the lobby and went back to good old BF modes. Never joining the lobby again.
Played a game of gauntlet, OK but feels a lot like warzone especially with that armour plate thing and endless amount of hits required to kill the enemy.
Strikepoint was a bit better.
Back in BF4, played a lot of DOM and operation locker conquest. Hope this edition has a map like that. And bring back Noshahr canals from the BF3 days.
So far the maps are comparatively small, operation firestorm has the largest i feel in terms of sniping.
Screw all the assignment shit, Iām just going back to playing conquest, rush like the days of yoreā¦. everything apart from the core modes/gameplay has been CODified it is like being on a treadmill of never ending challengesā¦

watch some flying tips videos about proper key bindings etc. because the default key bindings for aerial vehicles are crap. once you get this right half your problems are over.
Gone are the BFBC2 Days and BF3 or 4 days. This game now feels like a copy paste of Modern Warfare. No feeling of big maps, No actual reward of flanking because flankers can be flanked as well. People are everywhere. I play because my friends play it. Previous BF games I used to solo queue and still have so much fun.
can still recall good ol days when bf3 and bf4 were the thing, used to squad up with friends and discord in heli. its decent in bf6 though but still trying to get the team back online.
The worst map is Blackwell fields, i simply exit the lobby. Even the TDM maps are campy. I felt like an idiot running around only to run into the lap of 5-6 guys camping away to glory.
DOM and infantry based conquest. Heck i even run the recon with an SMG slapped with a suppressor, claymore and C4. Much fun to clear out enemies.
Blackwell fields is total snipers festā¦ so is sobek city. I just uncheck these two maps in custom search. Only option that I checked in the game modes list is conquest. Sometimes I even avoid the city maps. Hopefully they bring in more old bf maps like caspian border, golmud railway etc in future seasons.
They have done much needed changes to the Challenges and Assignments. Also fixed the most frustrating IFV Laser Lock-on missile bug that made air vehicles almost impossible to stay in the air even for a little time.
yeah flying has a steep learning curve. have to watch a few videos and spend some time changing the default keybindings. I have been flying helis/jets since BF3 days and now only got a good hang of the BF6 attack chopper and still suck with jets in this. needs some muscle memory changes every game so takes some time practicing even for experienced pilots.
also now there is a custom experience for a good test range where one can practice esp. flying vehicles. the experience code is DXS4
Too many good moments. Back in BF4 days we had rented a server just for these kind of shenanigans. Have not tried the C4 jeep āstuffā maps are too small for my comfort and the jeep is too weak but will do it when the bigger maps come along. But yes have got a couple of tank kills with the C4.
Just getting an hour or two, here and there of playtime. So have not even tried the jets now. Just the attack heli. But till they put the little bird back in I will probably avoid the skies
