Depends on what your priorities are. Imo spec wise lower tier brands like VW and TCL may look attractive but samsung and lg beat them in after service support and parts quality. Within the individual groups (lower tier group and branded group), they all compete within similar specs and price ranges
priority is good picture quality and sound..
need full hd resolution in 32 inch
At that price point I would say they’re almost all the same. Some lower tier brands market qled with fhd resolution like here (and as a layman I have no idea what that even means)
My wife got one 32 inch samsung herself a few weeks back. I would recommend you going to a nearby reliance / croma outlet if possible and checking out the panels. They generally have marketing videos tailor made for display and possibly bringing out the possible possible view. That should help you make a decision.
Regarding sound it is a choice between 20w and 30w mostly. But again, recommend checking out some tvs irl.
I have 32" LG with 1366 x 768 resolution, bought in September 2022. Picture quality is good (IPS) but sound is not up to the mark. Magic remote is a plus.
I don’t see any need for Full HD for a 32" LED TV. I am saying this as HD10 YouTube videos looks stunning on native resolution mentioned above.
LG proprietary operating system.
I think the only brand selling 1080p in 32" is TCL. I have the TV and I’m quite satisfied with it. I am using it with an Apple TV, so I don’t rely on the stock OS. Have been using the TV since October 2023 without any issues.
This seems to be the newer model

Ah one point I forgot to mention.. do check out the OS running on the tv. Especially if you plan to side load stuff.
One needs to check the ram for that first. No point in knowing you can sideload when you know the current 1GB ram isn’t enough to smoothly run even the default apps.
Just go for 1080p 43 inch model around 30k.
If you want latest top of the line 32 inch HD (1366x768) TV from LG, then this is the model number, it has all the features.
32LR656BPSA
price is still around 19k
There are lots of “smart” TVs available under 15K, but most are so shit you’ll regret buying one. Even for switching to HDMI, you’ll have to wait while its smartness is getting turned on and giving you the ability to change the source from its inbuilt output to HDMI, which goes back to its own system every time it’s restarted lol
Honestly? Get a monitor. Aim for 27" ones, and pair it with Fire TV or something else. Much better experience imo.
Or, older, dumb TVs if those are still available somewhere.
Note: Monitors usually have much better picture quality, but at the cost of total brightness being lower than a TV of comparable price. So, if you’re thinking of putting it in front of a shop, or somewhere where lots of direct sunlight will be hitting it, this won’t do.
Going into Amazon and picking the first available option, I get:
Monitor - 10K:
https://www.amazon.in/LG-FreeSync-Stabilizer-Borderless-OnScreen/dp/B0CPPVC42C
Or 32" one at 13K:
https://www.amazon.in/Acer-SA322Q-1920x1080-Ultra-Slim-Response/dp/B0D9C1D7CC
Fire TV - I think @Ace8488 is selling these for a fair price? Otherwise, new FHD models are around 3k
Speakers:
https://www.amazon.in/Zebronics-Zeb-Twist-5-1-Multimedia-Supporting/dp/B08CSNJ35L
Doesn’t sound (pun intended) terribly exciting, but should probably beat any in-built speaker system or cheap soundbar that you buy for around that price range.
How is the quality in hotstar netflix and prime videos considering its an 720p display?
Does is really doesn’t matter being an HD tv instead of full hd when it comes to above mentioned ott apps? Really??
Your tv has 10w or 20w or 30w sound??
And what about the warranty?
Can we get extra warranty ? And if yes for how many years and how much?
Can’t go for 43inch as room size and tv position is close and space issue too..
32 is max and best for the space in my condition…
This flipkart one or this amazon one https://amzn.in/d/1KN2mes??
What’s the difference between the two ? Anyone ?
I can see ram is 1.5gb and 16gb in amazon one, in Flipkart it’s 1.5gb and 8gb but Flipkart one is Qled which Amazon one isn’t…
Confused @sibot @Steelseries
Will check it
Looking for bedroom…don’t want so much hassle and all..need a single device with display and speakers..so I think tv wil be better for me…also space issue
You’ll get better value by spending a little more or waiting for a sale.
A 32 inch panel with 1080p isn’t a good option. My 17-18 years old Panasonic Viera TV died about 2 months ago. It was a 720p and the IPS panel was excellent for the time. You’d need to go for the odd 40 inch or the standard 43 inch TV for a decent 1080p.
It’s rather unfortunate that we pay for crap features and do not get a decent display. Try searching for a dumb TV.
I do not know of any current TVs but will check and update later.
Whatever you do, do not be swayed by online reviews. Look at the TV in person, if possible.
QLED is just marketing crap.
fk one is latest. also it says 300 nits panel hope it’s true. if you face ram issues you can always add fire tv stick later
Can’t go beyond 32inch due to space issue in room plus how close my tv is …so will have to stick to 32inch but thinking that full hd will make a diff than 720p tv…it is true right??
Usage will be playing netflix hotstar z5 prime and other ott and youtube
I understand that. If it’s feasible to install a 43 inch then do give it a consideration. If not, then a 32 inch 720p will also be good provided it has a good display.
Any display will be as good as the content you feed it. It should be fine for the purpose you have.
If possible, just visit a Croma and Reliance Digital and take a look at the TVs that match your requirements. Don’t indulge the salespeople. Watch some content that you’ll be watching on the TV. I did this for buying the LG OLED last year.
Most TVs are either made by Dixon or the Noida based manufacturers. TCL has its own manufacturing / assembly in India.
Samsung and LG don’t even make the LCD panels. I haven’t checked it for Sony.
