Best anti-virus software??

Hi guys,

I’m about to buy a PC . I’m looking to buy an anti-virus software. Which is the best out there??

I use my PC for other purposes also like downloading stuff and taking stuff from friends PCs which have viruses.

I want the anti-virus to protect my PC from everything. Help me choose one.

Best one is 360 Safeguard by Qihoo. Second pick would be Eset NOD series.

You don’t need to buy anything.

Just get Microsoft Security Essentials if your windows is genuine.

If you still want to buy then I’d suggest Kaspersky or Norton.

A good free solution is Avira/AVG + Comodo Firewall.

Freeware antivirus like Avira, Avast + Comodo Firewall or spybot can do the work, No need to buy a antivirus from market.

I suggest you use a free antivirus!
my favorite choice is Unthreat antivirus.. you can pair it with Comodo firewall to get maximum protection!
no need to spend $$ on a good antivirus!

Well if you have the money to buy a antivirus from market, then go with Norton360 or McAfee 2013, But for running this best antivirus. your PC must be very good, Because it’s to good to protect the PC from virus coming from other PC or internet and even from hacking. [ It’s my own opinion ]

Now if you want to go with freeware antivirus, then go with avira or avast + comodo internet security firewall and spybot search and destroy.

Norton internet security, I have used it for five years.

use any of the antivirus described above.. but under no circumstance use netprotector AV : India antivirus.. its a joke to mankind
