If you need all those, go for thermaltake. I never said its bad :wink:

Well Chaos 39"c at load is awesome, with my case closed I get 65"c at loads. Hmm I was planning to get an MX 510 now looks like have to get a good HSF combo. Any good cheap ones cheaper then XP 90 ?

Arctic Freezer 64 is really good for its price. But get the XP90 its 30 odd dollars now and it rocks for that price ;).

Any 5-8$ cheap 92mm fan is good enuf. It doesnt require much of airflow unless ur overclocking to the extreme. Also dont forget to get a tube of AS5 and make sure ur case has good airflow. Without airflow, the temperatures will suck.

  2. My case’s airflow sucks, dont wanna change the case though. In that case can Xp 90 get the temps down to say even 55"c. That will be good enough for me.
  3. AS5, it being electrically conducive am hesistant. AS Ceramique can do the job too.

Depends… There are two versions. One that comes in a brown box. That doesnt come with a fan and is usually cheaper. The other comes in some flimsy plastic packaging and comes with some sort of 92mm fan. Dont know how good that fan is though. I’d buy the brown box and put a fan myself. (LOL thats what i have as well :face_with_tongue: )

Yep, all at stock etc… My case is sucky get 55"c at load with panel open.

Do u have an intake and an exhaust fan? It shouldn’t get that hot even on the stock cooler. I’m sure a custom hsf will bring it down to below 50 atleast.

Edit: Abt AS5 and electrical conductivity… this is straight from their website

Not Electrically Conductive:
Arctic Silver 5 was formulated to conduct heat, not electricity.
(While much safer than electrically conductive silver and copper greases, Arctic Silver 5 should be kept away from electrical traces, pins, and leads. While it is not electrically conductive, the compound is very slightly capacitive and could potentially cause problems if it bridges two close-proximity electrical paths.)

BTW, I am getting this Enermax 92mm fan with my XP-90c, mainly becoz of its features:

**Low: **1800 RPM, .13A, 1.56W, 47.34 CFM, 28.0 dB

**Medium: **2300 RPM, .20A, 2.4W, 52.25 CFM, 32.6 dB

**High: **2800 RPM, .28A, 3.36W, 64.15 CFM, 34.3 dB

Nope my case just has one outlet so I have an exhaust fan, and leave the case open for intake :wink:

Those ratings are guaranteed bugged. No 92mm will do 64cfm @34 dB.

I have some Panaflo fans 92mm and 80mm - good fans but I still feel that the Pabst fans are the BEST - and the Pabst fans are now available in India. I have a Pabst 120mm fan running in my cabinet right now and it has so much air flow that I run the fan at 7v even now during summer.

My computer temps right now at 1.45pm with no A/C is 33C CPU and 35C Case and my HDDs are both at 35C. I have a Zalman 7000cu HSF.

All i want is good fan with decent CFM rating and very low noise.. so temme which fits teh bill better.. Panaflo or pabst.. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
