hi
There r many Cablenet packages from diff. providers @ diff rates.
Though some offer the good old HOURS Usage packages, but currently new providers r offering packages in terms of MB’s. [pay as mush u download].
Also, MB’s packages r way too costly than the Hours.
In hours, there r 30hrs, 50 hrs, 100hrs, Unlimited etc. packages. Here no matter how much TIME is left, u can d’load as much as u want, no restrictions. Also, very very cheap [30hr=250, 50grs=350, 100hrs=500, Unlimited 64k Line=650, Unltd 128k=800 & so on.]
But, in MBs u have d’lod limit 500=827,100=320,Ult=1300[shared line]
Means, if your package is of 500 MBs, & if u d’load a 700B Movie, then u’ve to pay extra for that 200MB u d’load. Thats how mean.
But, in Hours packages, no matter the speed, but u can d’load any size limit.
Depends on the type of use, u have for internet. Go for MB based plan if u use net for TP stuff, like emailling, chatting, etc and if u’r a download freak go 4 time based plan, although truly unlimited plan would be best though .
BTW me got 512 Kbps MTNL adsl2 triband , but limited by MB’s
i got 50 hour pack for month plan at my home at BSNL dataone unlimited at my office… I usually am not able to go through my 50 hours… I find it pretty good…
MTNL has a new bband connection
500 MB for 590 Rs/ month
BUT they have night time (10-8) free unlimited! At 256 kbps.
Now if BSNL matches that I say bye bye Sify.
