I usually try to stay away from political posts for my own mental wellbeing, but it always amuses me to no end to see Indians supporting US conservatives as if they had anything in common. Even Indian Americans like Kash Patel or Usha Vance are just there because of their usefulness to the GOP and not because they cared, they would be the first to be left out as soon as their usefulness ends.
Like people are criticizing liberals for celebrating death of a guy who famously supported deaths of innocents resulting from his support of gun rights. He was okay with kids dying because guns were more important to him. He laughed at deaths of people he considered subhuman and/or unamerican.
This equivalence of left and right saying they are both same is stupid beyond belief. Just because you support BJP here, you don’t have to side with the US conservatives. This is not a team game ffs. Both US left and US right would not think twice before crushing Indian interests in geopolitics whenever it suits them.
Lots of people die in the US due to guns every day. Frankly, just giving this guy’s death any importance here, discussing it here - shows how subservient some of us have become. Some Indian guy was recently killed by a machete by a white American, no one in the USA or here in India cared. I remember just after covid, in 2022 or 23, an Indian girl returning to her dorms was ran over by a white police officer just as a joke, and they were recorded laughing over it as she lay there dead. It was all over social media for a day, and was forgotten the next day. Nothing came out of it, I am not even sure the officer was punished beyond suspension.
So why give importance to the death of a guy who was racist to everyone but his own skintone? Who thought kids dying was a good price to pay for owning a gun.

Also, the recent brutal murder of an Indian man infront of his Wife and Son is totally absent from discourse. We should be outraged by that and not with lack of sympathy for a known racist. We really need to align our priorities.

During the US Republican primary and till the main election. I saw hours of Vivek and later him with Charlie Kirk going to campuses. While Charlie kirk is no match to Vivek in humility and wisdom.
The fact is left wingers, Liberals hate even Vivek. No matter how hostile the left wing person was in their questions or dropping the F bombs and other insults. He still allowed them to speak and counter their point with his views and still allowed them a face saving ramp. Because of the sheer IQ difference between him and the left wing person asking the question. They can only resort to shouting or worse violence or death threats.
Even look at any peaceful protest, if the crowd is liberal/left wing and person who as a counter views are beaten up almost always. The same is not true vice versa. Antifa the left wing group is so violent they always where face mask to conceal their identity, armed with guns, beating people to pulp.
About Charlie kirk, the two things he has flip flopped are he went from questioning Israel to supporting them and from against illegal immigration to against legal immigration.
On Israel he has since again started to question them but since Turning point gets a lot of funding from AIPAC, he was under immense pressure to toe the pro Israel line.
On H1B, when Elon and Vivek where getting hammered on this issue, he stayed silent. He did remind is audience at that time about the fact that the election mandate about closing the border to illegals and not legal immigration. But Maga wanted a cut of H1B too again immense pressure, so over the course of several months he his now also opposed to Indians H1B not because he is racist but because they want jobs to go to americans and not be replaced by cheaper H1B.
Many of the racists things said on Indians on social media are from pakis and other Indian hating neighbours pretending to be white. Just like many Indian acounts on social media are pretending to be white for engagement farming.
There is offcourse racists like Ann coulter, Nick fuentes type who are Christian nationlists who have plenty of following.
I was following this tragic story.
The cop was fired but faced no charges due to “lack of evidence”.
Really sad.

Vast majority of the Republican voters do not support what israel is doing. Polls show support for Israel is at a all time low.
The paid influencers are a different matter. AIPAC is well funded.
These influencers will do a 180 as and when they get a software update from Trump.
Trump, Republicans and a majority of democrats fear Israel and the intelligence community whether thats due to black mail or fear of ending up like JFK.
