Thinking of buying 5060 Ti 16Gb, So trying to understand which version of it is the preferred one, since there isn’t much difference between them in terms of price and fall under the deviation of 5-6k. Found a good deal on Galax but thanks to a community member got to know that its best to avoid Galax, leading to the confusion which one to buy, Is there a ranking of sorts ? based of product quality, after-sales service
Get Zotac or Gigabyte.
As already mentioned, avoid Galax.
Also for gigabte, go with aorus elite if possible and if its not that big of a difference over other GB model as you will get 3+1 year warranty on it if you register the card within 30 days of purchase.
If going for colorful get one of the igame cards as they too have 3+1 year warranty like GB if you register the card within 30 days of purchase
For zotac all cards have 3+2 years warranty on registering within 30 days of purchase.
Rest of the AIBs give 3 year warranty
Can you say why to avoid galaxy ?
Warranty is 3 years compared to 4/5 like the three mentioned above. RMA process is also not as smooth, they ask for distributor bill to claim warranty.
If price difference is huge you can go for galax but if not then I would say not.
Also no social media presence, zotac/gb have community managers that you can contact incase rma gets delayed.
Oh thankyou , Is shop bill and distributor bill different ?
Yea distributor bill is what the shop gets and shop bill is what you get whenever you buy something from a store/website. Although I think there shouldn’t be an issue acquiring it, but still the rma process isn’t as fast and smooth.
kaizen does rma for both zotac and galax but zotac is way faster than galax judging from online and reviews from friends.
If you want to know performance/temp differences between the cards you can watch these vids
@moh1t tagging you since you have a galaxy 5070ti from amazon, don’t know how amazon will provide distributor bill if required. Atleast physical shop I believe will co-operate to an extent.
From what i’ve read on reddit, Kaizen has to take email approval from importer for RMA. They were asking for distributor bill in response to a case of questionable card condition. It’s ridiculous that they’re asking for it and it’s certainly not standard practice.
Not sure if they’re still doing it. I know there have been a few posts about it in the last year on IndianGaming subreddit, but it’s very difficult to ascertain which stories there are factually correct or if things have been misrepresented.
I’ll write to both kaisen & the distributor together to get clarity. Also since it’s bought from amazon, so if the brand does not give warranty for some reason, I should be able to get a refund, as i’ve done this in the past at least once before.
Nice, I didn’t know Colorful had some 4 year options too.
For Gigabyte, I’d seen the Aorus, Aero and Gaming range have the 1 extra year.
GALAX! ![]()
Depends on the model, different series have different eligible models. For 5060 ti 16gb and 8gb only aorus elite models have it
As for colorful it’s for 50 series GPUs with igame tag and 700 series and above motherboard models with igame tag.
Well spotted!
ASUS (ROG / ProArt / Dual / EVO) - Trusted reliability, good cooling, decent support.
MSI (Gaming X / Ventus) - Very strong cooling, good long-term use.
Gigabyte (Aero / Gaming OC) - Often good thermals, but consistency varies by SKU.
PNY / Palit - Good value options; support varies by region.
GALAX - Lower-tier positioning; proceed with caution on support.
