Its been 21 days since corsair PSU RMa and its now being dispatched . They said its going to be 7-14 days.
The experience has been worse because there is no proper communication and the kaizen infoserve also didnt tell me that you could track the status which i figured it out myself.
I will say how the psu etc is after its delivered.
This is bad actually.. acrorma is better in this regard. I sent razer mouse they dispatched the replaced unit the next day from their side. Only waiting time was the courier service..
Yeah and i didnt knew when i will get it and no proper response from the service centres. They outright ghost you and didnt tell me about tracking status etc. They can just test the psu and sent a replacement and it should max take 7 days. I would rethink before purchasing another corsair product in india for sure.
I am curious as to what model PSU you sent for RMA. Sometimes if you send some old, outdated models they require authorisation from higherups and import from abroad.
I have RMA’d 2 PSUs (450 and 600SFX) from Corsair, it was replaced within 2 weeks tops.
They took 20 days for mine ,had to file a nch complaint,no reply over whatsapp email or anything,20 days of constantly reaching out to them about the status
Email corsair global support,i have great experience with them ,they will take it up with the local team here or maybe post on reddit they have a representative their too, corsair has great customer support. This is quite unusual of them
They (Corsair) took all details and told me contact kaizen infoserve . Asked them about the delay too but no response and then will be waiting to close your ticket or will say new ticket or whatever. Whats the point of contacting them if i should anyway need to go the kaizen infoserve.
yeah its old one ( RM750x) but they need to replace with a new model or better variant which shouldnt be tough at all as my rm750x got burned and died so its a straight forward failure.
i never understood why cant they give one from retail stores and tie up with one after taking RMAed psu and deciding its faulty they could just give me some letter or something which can be shown at a retail store and claimed.
I had to repeatedly mail corsair and kaizen and asked them why the dispatch isnt happening even when its monday when it was ready on friday itself which means friday, sat, mon they didnt try to dispatch it and it was sitting for more than 2 weeks in their hub
Its dispatched yesterday ,i have no option but to wait for their call. Kaizen also has a toll free number and its just for name sake you just get disconnected after sometime after it says its kaizen customer care.
all good then, nothing we can do, this brands have started taking customers for granted ,they dont value our time, i was chasing msi for an update for 2 weeks until i got a sms from bluedart that my shipment will be delivered today. acroma never bothered to update me or keep me in loop
Yeah just sharing the experience anyone searching on google sees this like how it helped me as not much has been written on this online and atleast got to know about tracking online.
My experience was with Kaizen when I was using GS600. Have RMA its around 8 times. due to which later on I got Indias first RM 750 as a replacement when it was not even launched in india.
they do take time for sure.
My experience is, if their service center have stock, its provided immediately else they also have to order it from corsair.
For small items its good. For expensive items, even Acro can be slow. Their executives do wake up if you escelate the issue and get things done but I had to wait 2+ weeks to get Lian Li AIO RMAed. Honestly even 2 weeks for PC component is bad as almost every component is critical and without any one PC does not function. As my PC is used for work, I usually end up buying replacement item and then I am left with RMAed item, which sometimes I end up selling here.
We need some major improvements in this regard to be honest. No PC component RMA should take more than 2-3 days. If repairs are gonna take more than that, issue a replacement to the users. If refurbs are going to be issued, those have to have same age or newer than original component. I have seen kaizen issueing a year older refurb GPU as a refurb replacement than the card the user submitted. That should be unacceptable considering how age matters with these components going forward too.
Unfortunately nothing will happen the consumer court are barely functional and take years to pass a judgement, and even when they do pass a judgement corporation just ignore it and consumer forum is usually powerless against them.
Without strong consumer protection law and a strong judiciary nothing will improve ,infact this foreign corporation have realised the weakness in our judiciary and are exploiting it to max
Ideally shipping label should be paid or provided by them but even that comes from our pocket here and no one seems to mind it
