Maybe if you go to RMA online, they ask for bill.
WD - as long as serial number shows the warranty status on their site, just drop a call to customer care (worked out for me)
Corsair, you are not claiming it from corsair directly, you go to the importer (Acro in this case) and importers will do their best to deny warranty (they rejected the original bill image for my corsair RAM rma, asked to get a scanned copy, photo doesnt work -_-)
Always try to reach direct manufacturer for warranty claims (often it gets done without bill)
Thanks. I guess they are no longer checking bills now. Earlier when my wd red hard drives had failed I had to submit the bill copy online before sending drives to chennai for RMA. I never checked offline at RPtech etc so no clue. All my RMAs have been over email and then courier. I have never gone to any service center except logitech because logitech suck ass in India
I have had decent experience with Kaizen ( corsair ). They just asked for bill copy over email and then the actual replacement / rma was fuss free. No drama at all. On the other hand logitech made me run around to get my mx anywhere replaced - switches started double clicking in a few months. Even my k650 keyboard failed ( 2-3 keys stopped working within 6 months ). Another set of cheaper ( 1000rs iirc ) logitech combo also died in 8 months on my daughter’s pc. Absolute crap logitech has been selling in india and their service center in Delhi is so bad I have no words to describe them. I hope logitech either changes their service provider to someone like kaizen or just quits selling in India because obviously they are never going to improve product quality
G502 hero - bought refurbished in 2020, in service till 2024 (until cockroaches ate up all the rubber from all sides) and the left button started double clicking.
Def out of warranty
Bought another G502 (boxless unit from myself)
The point to notice is that previous version came with braided wire, while newer ones are all rubber cable only
(ended up swapping the cable from older one into the new mouse, all working great!)
(also applied vinyl wrap across the mouse to make it roach-resistant)
Just show up to their service center. They will take it and RMA for you. If it’s within warranty, should resolve within a week or 2. At least that’s how it worked for me.
