Man I wanted to upgrade to AM5 but I guess now I will have to wait another year and even then the RAM and SSD pricing might not get better.
This same thing happened with me when I was building my first pc. I purchased my 1650 for 23k offline.

DDR4 already doubled in price. I think people are gonna skip 2 years or more of upgrade. in case of GPU, grab what you can. I can easily see 1660s selling for 60k like conditions again in next few months.
mostly I can say that we might see people upgrading to AM6 gen 2, if not urgent. I personally right now skipping AM5 completely.
Yes buy spare gpu and hold on to it.
AM6 gen 2 would be zen 9. AM5 will see support upto zen 7. I think even the AM4 owners with an X3D chip would like to upgrade by zen 8.
Rupee crosses 90. Get ready to get screwed even harder. Our regional prices will rise even steeper than actual international prices.

I can relate, I am building a pc again after 2 years. I Sold everything to prepare for exams. I would have been financially better off letting it sit lmao.
I believe Gelsinger is 100% right on the money. Yes, one can blame him for running intel into the ground but I doubt it will take more than 2 years for all the A.I money to move to quantum computing - breakthrough in quantum computing is irrelevant - the market runs on hype. Invest in quantum computing stocks, they will only go up. They have to.
