Desk PC build completed

After weeks of planning, the Desk PC build is finally complete.

Liquid Freezer II 360 was sacrificed to PC gods while building this. Switched to Freezer III 360 ARGB ๐Ÿ˜…

30mins CPU & GPU stress test: temps under 75C on both.
Glass gets warm a bit near GPU but not too hot to touch.

Specs:

  • R7 7700X

  • Flare X5 32GB 6000 MTs DDR5

  • TUF OC 3070TI

  • TUF B650 ATX

  • Deepcool DQ 850W PSU

  • LianLi SL v2 fans

P.S: Yes, the AIO pump is lower than the radiator. I am going to sell my previous case (O11D evo if anyone is interested, will make a different post for it)

Looks nice

I have seen many such setups but I never got to know about the ergonomics of such a setup.. Does the table obstruct your legs or is there enough clearance? And what about the heat, it can be comfortable in winters, but in summers, it would be exhausting out the heat on your feet, no?

I worked with the carpenter to make sure i had enough space for my legs to fit below. Now i have enough space to put my forearm on the desk comfortably.

The warm exhaust from AIO is angled a bit, so the hot air is hitting the wall first.

Oh okay got it

Few more questions

Is it mounted directly on the wall?

What wood is it, did u use any other materials for any other parts for the table?

Is the glass lying directly on the wood, I see a black border, is it rubber?

What about maintainence, like is it easy to clean?

Also, what happened to the two fans on the right?

Also the glass looks flush with the table, how do u lift it in case u wish to upgrade or anything?

Yes the Table is mounted directly to the wall.

There are two Metal L-supports holding the table, its sturdy enough that i can stand on it.

Its made of thick plywoods., the black border are also strips of ply, The carpenter gave me measurements for the glass, i got it cut from local glass shop.

There is a small hole at the back, enough to lift the glass with 1finger,. The glass is flush with the table.

The two right fans, well the lian-li cable isnt long enough, i am in process of extending the cable so it can reach the RGB controller

Ohh okay..

Did u get those locally?

Will rubber be better? Like in terms of sound isolation, rubber should create a better seal ig?

Yes i got the metal L support from local metal fabrication shop.

i can put a layer of rubber but i can barely hear any noise from the PC, only when the Rad fans ramp up to 2000rmp

Okay got it!

Thanks for answering all my queries!

Would love to see the completed full build with the fans installed and the final look!

This would gain some love on r/battlestations :stuck_out_tongue:

just monitor the temps now and then with a digital thermometer. You dont want the area to stay hot for too long for the components. intake and exhaust needs to be managed so component area is not staying hot for long.

Looks super cool! Do you just keep your keyboard and mouse on the PCโ€™s glass panel? Would be a shame if the internals are hid by a mouse mat.

Glass panel is near the back side, the front is wood where the keyboard is placed

exactly, when gaming i usually put the keyboard at an angle, i am still using my old mousepad, looking for a new one right now, that would not cover the glass
