I will share it with the core development team of discourse so that they can suggest alternatives or plan it in their roadmap if they find it worthwhile.

Is this normal? Selecting texts not only hides everything but also shortens the “blue” space but it doesn’t alter all the selected texts either ie. if you cut/copy even if it covers the whole text it doesn’t cut/copy all the selected texts.
I get emails when people reply. That’s fine. The emails are sent out with the replier’s old name. Several of us have changed our names on this site. It’s not ideal that emails are being sent with old names.
Again on iOS 26 Safari, the seller hub is unusable in portrait mode and expands to maximum size on switching to landscape, requiring a lot of zoom out and scrolling for it to be usable.
I don’t know where to post this (due to multiple threads related to Discourse) so posting it here as it has the newest post, and also I don’t remember if this was also present in the old platform but would it be possible to remove the minimum character limit for both messages and forum posts? Or at least for regulars? I don’t mind sending a longer message (I love typing essay type messages!) to bypass this restriction but felt that it would not add any value. Just my opinion.
Not too important, but could we allow native video upload support? I checked discourse forums and it should be doable by adding to the “Authorized Extensions” list site setting.
It would save users the trouble of hosting videos elsewhere, and then figuring out embedding and other things.

I can’t select text to quote. This occurs frequently but not always. When I press and hold on some text, the mobile vibrates; that’s all. No text gets selected.
