The only thing I desire is the checkpoint system. Jeez I tried playing the old games a few days back and I was surprised how my younger self went through all the broken missions and the constant retries without feeling frustrated.

I actually never finished a GTA game..

I have finished all the mainline 3d games except GTA 3. San andreas and gta 4 are absolutely worth playing through. Strong writing and characters. Something that shaped RDR2. Although there are some missions in both games that completely suck.

good thing it got cracked and also they F’ed up real bad by releasing some uncompiled files with dev comments so they pulled the game off their store and no one is able to play it, not even the ones who bought it already.

Played san andreas non stop for 18hours once. Not planning to play those games again.
