Me too same impression about TE. I spend most of my day time in TE and Reddit. So I fear losing TE.
It is a strange kind of sorrow, watching a forum fade away.
For years, I was part of one, a small world built by a company, but kept alive by the people within it.
Then, one decision after another dimmed the light. The voices that once filled every thread began to vanish, until only a few familiar names remained.
Now, the silence lingers. A handful of posts appear each week, sometimes each month, like echoes in an empty hall. I learned so much there once, knowledge, laughter shared across screens.
But I have come to see what truly gives a forum life, not its code, nor its logo, nor its rules, but the people. When they leave, what remains is only an empty shell, a digital monument to what once was.

I think itās the mods that bring out the best in the forum and keep it that way, and people keep it alive.
Iāve honestly wondered about that several times before, the mods couldāve easily grabbed some of the best deals Iāve seen on here but they donāt. About 3-4 years ago someone posted a giveaway for a server that was worth 80k. And Iāve seen several other great deals before. I always assumed the mods would grab the best ones, but they donāt.
Bruh youāve been here longer than most of the members, ~20 years. You should tell us whatās the criteria lol

True, mods come under the same category. They play important role.
Not sure that happened but Erodov was a good forum and shall be missed.

I have been in these forums since the beginning of internet (i.e. Since dial up internet, you know). Been away due to commitments and now forgot my login details, so once again signed up now.
There is no way your account would have been blocked just because you reported someoneās post for it being without picture.
There is no action for āspoilingā a trade if the general rules of the forum are being followed. Seller will always feel wronged if someone comes and dissects their pricing, but that is part of selling on a community where everyone helps each other, buyers and sellers alike.
But we can see how that impression gets formed and passed along if there is lack of communication. Now we have a support section, top right on the nav bar, where users can air out their grievances privately and get a response from the staff. A step in the direction to make TE feel more inclusive and transparent.
