I am using Norton Internet security 2012. Norton is giving its antivirus updates on its site but I want to download its updates of antispyware definitions.
Pls tell if there is a software which can do it other than norton internet security itself as I will be installing these updates on my home PC which does not have internet.

Go for theMicrosoft Security Essentials Sire, it is free [as long as you have a legitimized copy of Windows], light on resources and effective.
Updates are available for manual updation in the form of ~60MB chunks every 2 -->3 days.

I already have bought Norton Internet Security 2012.
i don’t think Symantec releases Antispyware definitions separately
while the term that is used is Antivirus definitions, the more apt term would be antmalware definitions
that update patch contains definitions for everything you need to be protected against
Earlier I used to think of the same for WIndows updates but later on I found out WSUS. So there could be some utility to do this tooooooooooooooo.
