yep.. 15 bucks for 8X.. the dealer told me they were made by MBI.. about the scans i dont know.. will have to check later
Those are dvd-identifier screenshots. The software can be found http://dvd.identifier.cdfreaks.com/
It gives u a summary of the info of a particular brand of media like whether its a dvd-r,+r etc the manufacturer, the supported speeds etc.

Sadly Verbatims arent available here.. even if they were, they wud cost a bomb..

When i get back i am off to lamington to hunt for some newer and better (hopefully cheaper) alternatives. @Techhead: How abt those edgetech ones that i posted ??

Decent, get some MBI branded ones instead. Better QA.
Maxell 48X - Ritek - 11 per.
MBI Pro 52X, rate varies, 8-9 if bought in bulk.
Trust only these two, all the rest (Writex, Amkette) are crap.
MBI 10X CDRW is 40, Verbatim 24X CDRW is 52-55, Verbatim 32X CDRW is bout 80.
I heard from Darky that u get EdgeTech ones made by MBI too these days..
edgetech was always made by MBI.
Check Post No.4 in this thread. Check that EdgeTech scan posted by Blade_Runner. Hence i pointed it out.
ya even i had got the same scan on the edgetech. but on the box its written made by MBI.
MBI can use mitsubishi name on their product cause mitsubishi & mbi have done some deal or something or are partners in some regions. i had read about this some 3 months back somewhere.
