Feedback on Computechstore.in. TLDR - will never buy from them again

I built a new PC in March/April this year and had a horrendous experience with Computer Parts Laptops Online India - Computech Store

I had ordered a cpu, mb, case, RAM, ssd and a psu from these guys.

All got delivered without any issues, though the MB did have some damage and unfortunately it was the only item that I had forgotten to make an unboxing video of. Thankfully it turned out to be cosmetic and the MB worked fine.

The day I got my cpu, a 7900x, I decided to upgrade to a 9800x3d, and spoke to the store and he said no issues and I should send it back, pay the difference and then he would ship out the new one.

Sent it back same day. This was 12th March. It was delivered on 15th March and I spoke to him and whatsapped him from that day onwards, and he kept denying that it had reached him.

He asked for courier details, which I had already provided and then I resent that as well as the courier screenshot saying ā€˜DELIVERED’.

I followed up daily and he kept saying that he has not recd the item.

I then went to the courier office and asked them to get me the physical copy of the proof of deliver. Got that on 20th, and the reciever had put his mobile number there. I called the number and turned out to one of the shop guys himself and only after that he accepted that he had received the item but had somehow it had been misplaced. How he could not look for an item when I have given screenshots of courier saying it has been delivered beats me as I was calling daily.

Had to make multiple trips to the courier office to get the physical copy of the POD. Wasted so much time.

I have whatsapp screenshots but that doesn’t tell the entire story as most of the discussion was on phone.

Worst case scenario he was trying to cheat me, and if I give him the benefit of doubt he was just too lazy to really check when I had told him that it had been delivered. Either way not what I would call even semi decent service.

Thank you for saving me from the misery. I had contacted them for couple of nvme ssd’s which are listed extremely low prices on their website. It’s been Day 7 and I haven’t received any communication of the stock. I have called them multiple times. I read somewhere else on the forum too about them but had already initiated the conversation with them and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because of multiple youtube videos of them.

My limited (and very recent) experience with them has been good.

I ordered ddr5 ram (it was listed at half the market price) and they refunded the whole amount alongwith the credit card fee.

It is possible they refunded it as I paid through credit card.

Was hesitant to post because I expected a possible backlash but finally decided that I get so much from this forum that I should not hesitate to give back when possible.

Yes, their communication is terrible. Messages just go unanswered and with every call it was almost like I was begging them.

I’m sure plenty would have had decent experiences but I am just posting my experience.

Dude its Nov now and you are posting post 8 months..what mahabharata happened during this 8 months and what made you post it this late?

Did you got a refund or the exchange? Whats the full story?

Dude, as you say, read my reply above. I was hesitant to post it.

Obviously it was resolved as I said in my original post. He acknowledged that he had received it FIVE days after he had recd it and after making me run like crazy to get the physical POD and even then only after I called that mobile number and it turned out to belong to a guy from his shop. DUH

But that does not absolve him from the fact that either he was trying to cheat me, or just being too lazy to look for it in his shop even after my telling him daily that it had been delivered.

It’s good you finally decided to post this, these vendors get too relaxed when dealing with other’s money. Also not your fault at all, I believe all feedbacks posts should be taken as a cautionary tale in case they are negative, better to know about them than not.

Courier said delivered, and shop says not recd. For 5 days I thought that I had lost 38K.

I had a similar experience but I received the product that I paid for.

Called to check if product was in stock and he asked to send the product link over WhatsApp. Confirmed availability and placed order. Received the order well packed.

The owner does come across as obnoxious through the all caps chat but certainly not a cheat. I was hesitant too but remember @bssunilreddy suggesting it for some product.

Thats what its too scary. In the future better ask such shops to arrange their own courier while you pay for it, this was the ball is in your court for any mess arises.

How do you guys contact them? I’ve sent WhatsApp messages and emails, but there’s no reply. Only the ordered enquiry guy responded — I explained the issue, but he went quiet after hearing it. What does that mean — no stock, or something else?

I would say that is the first sign that maybe avoid them? Not worth the stress when they dont respond. Had to ask at least 10 times before he sent details of the shipment.

I have never lost money with them. I have bought a few expensive items from them too. But thats mainly due to me learning lessons from the experiences of a few friends from Telegram tech group.

So if I want anything from them, I message them on WhatsApp. From my experience, sometimes I will get a reply saying he will look into it when inquired about the real stock of the item, which is showing in stock onthe website. But then no update on actual availability.

Sometimes no reply at all. Not even ā€œ Checking ā€œ or ā€œ Will let you know shortly ā€œ replies I sometimes receive.

A few friends who had ordered stuff assuming ā€œIn Stockā€ means actualy in stock had their orders delayed by a week before shipping or outright cancellations, and waiting a week or two for refunds. One friend who is a fellow member here on TE as well received two single-channel items instead of the dual-channel kit he had ordered. There was no communication about this to the buyer. They just sent individual sticks, assuming the buyer would be fine.

After this, on 1st October I was looking for a specific motherboard which was showing in stock only with them. I was sceptical, so as usual I messaged at around 7:30PM on 1st October 2025 asking if its actually in stock. The owner Harsh himself replied that it is, and also sent me the photo confirming the item is in stock. No other online store had it in stock in the country at that time.

So I paid immediately, and as I am in Mumbai, he booked a porter and sent it within half an hour from Thane to Mumbai, and I got my motherboard and CPU at 11PM the same day. That was an exceptionally good experience. This made my current white themed back connect build, which is still a work in progress, possible.

But this was just one off. A few days later, I wanted some other speciality high-end items which were showing in stock on the site. SO messaged him on the store WhatsApp as well as the owner’s private WhatsApp. I still haven’t received any answer to that. This was just 7 days later on 8th oct 2025.

So it looks like, if they don’t have stock, they don’t update their site. They dont reply to messages and inquiries if they dont have ready stock. Either employees are slacking not answering or this is their work culture, which is really disappointing to see. Have a courtesy to informthe customer they don’t have something in stock. No shame in that. But not communicating before or even after placing an order is something they really need to work on. This creates trust issues, and because of precisely this, I do not recommend them to anyone I know yet. I will mostly still deal with them ona personal build level as they do carry some rare and hard to find items, but if Harsh or anyone from Computech is reading it, I say this as a customer and a well-wisher…………… You need to do better.

ITs not every day you come across someone who is even ready to cater to an enthusiast crowd with hard-to-find items, but if you are bad at communicating with customers, customers will not trust you, and it will be a loss of business for them.
