I somehow strongly feel the need of dedicated “Networking Section”
We cant ask networking related doubts in
P2P , as it restricts only to P2P related doubts.
General Hardware , as we can ask only about Networking HW over there.
Internet , not all people post in this section frequently.
Applications , restricts us to only Apps
Operating Systems , this restricts us to OS N/W related doubts
The most hottest place on TE i feel is Hardware Zone.
Where as a Networking section will be a combo of
Networking Hardware,Software,Issues etc..
I feel asking doubts in the above mentioned 5 Sections will not do justice
to the thread.
Hope you guys feel that i aint wrong.
Suggesting is all that i can do , implementing is upto you.
You can conduct a poll here on TE and see how many ppl are intrested.
If and only many ppl show intrest then only implement it.
Hope i am not wrong anywhere in conveying my message.

What about renaming that section to “Networking and Internet” ?
Afterall, Internet too is a kind of network

netwroking and internet means it will be difficult to find links and fully internet related things..

We have an “Internet” section already. Since the number of posts isn’t high here, we could just rename the section as Networking and Internet. I say this cuz both of them fall into the same category, i.e Networks. By renaming the section, you’ll not only increase the number of posts in the section, but also keep it all together
As QuickFire said,we might rename it,but opening a new section is not needed,beside that who said Internet wasnt visited? it has 331 threads with 1,551 posts,a Networking section wont have that much threads in a year time.
