I’m happy with the electric mechanic set. Magnets are weak though. I’ve opened up 2 controllers and a laptop so far. The convenience was worth it. Still getting used to it.

Are there any convertors available to put bigger size bits and use manually? I have nintendo security bits from aliexpress idle. Bought a local screwdriver set just for them. I was able to complete my use then but it turned out to be low quality and just fell apart. Will need to use the bits next week. A simple handle will also do.

Looking forward to the next thread. I have a ps4 and xbox one controller with broken rumble motor wires. Just need to be soldered back.

Wow that looks good. This would be great beginner project for the solder kit. Something I can involve my 10 year old with. Can you share local links for all the parts needed. I ordered some prints yesterday from Get 3D Printin’ – Pan-India 3D Printing Service with Express Delivery.

Yup! with sizes ranging from 2.5-5.5
Great kit to accompany electric precision screwdrivers

Wanting to buy the best that I can has paralyzed me.

With so many choices its overwhelming and just ended up delaying my purchase. I’m not getting any younger.

Added to my cart, I will order tonight. My nintendo 64 region free tray 3d print has been shipped. Almost forgot I need this to open it.

Thanks alot. You guys have been very helpful.

  1. Usb sata case
  2. Precision electric screwdriver set
  3. Multimeter (I still have to order this)
  4. Multipurpose screwdriver set

The list is growing. Just waiting for the solder kit thread. I will be broke soon. LOL.

can vouch for this, there are multiple brands providing semi-identical kits (with just a different color, or a fancy screwdriver etc). I bought this

just because i liked the color

I have gone through so many multimeters to land on some good ones. Avoid random multimeters from amazon or flipkart go here

and get yourself an HTC DM98 (one the best multimeter under INR 2000) it’s just a rebranded Kaiweets HT118A (which goes for INR 3000 on amazon). If you don’t want to spend around 1700 for a multimeter there is HTC DM 85T for about INR 1000. If you don’t like auto ranging multimeter get the DM92 or something from UNI-T if you fancy. Will write a combined post for soldering station and multimeter

Get a separate (cheap’ish) clamp multimeter if you work with AC currents as long as you only use the clamp for currents. And if you work with AC voltages above 50 volts and need to use multimeter leads buy a basic fluke. Remember you don’t want to become a fuse for the multimeter  . A fluke will always die first.

I ordered the red set. Found it to be a bit ordinary. I can’t return it, will keep to give as gift later. Have a similar smaller set.

I needed this for the nintendo bits. Used it today. Amazing buy @ 600rs.

Thanks man got to know about these two websites never heard about them
