Free or paid security software - 360 is good choice?

hi everyone,

Can someone please share your experience using 360 total security?
What is the pro and con? Or if anything else to recommend? (Preferably free)

Can anyone comment what is the catch with freeware and if paid software is worth the money?

I am using 360 Security since 6 months on my Android device. I will recommend to use it.

I haven’t used 360 Security on my desktop and laptop. I am using Avast free antivirus from past 2 years. It is very good.

there are much better security solutions available like Avast (free) & bitdefender (paid) but you can easily get free promos (9/6/3 months) of bitdefender round the year which basically gives you paid protection for free round the year.

personally i use Eset smart security (paid)

can you help me understand why pay when there is free?
is there something i should be careful with the freeware?

I had used free avast for 4 years, then after some probs with the os installed kaspersky and it found 10-12 viruses/malware.

Over the years avast has drastically fell down in its detective abilities. You can search for yourself av-comparatives report for past 2 years and you will come to know the answer.

But among the free avs, avast is the best
