Gift Card ways to buy from US card to IN

My Team Director wants to gift me a 300 USD giftcard from amazon or whatever i am comfortable with. He tried last night on amazon india website with his US card details and it didn’t went through.

TO buy amazon india cards we need to use Indian Credit cards only is the caveat.

So any other options available for me ? Any other ways ? Be it amazon or other any portals which takes fees and gives it ?
