Well whatever that site has is not really new. If you wanna know what exactly is happening inside on how google ranks a page, this is the original paper by Sergey Brin and Lawrence Page.

But that is the riginal paper right?
And well, google has changed its ranking system since then a lot hasn’t it?

Yup but the basic things remain the same. That patent is the thing that the article references.
