it’d help if the current mid end GPUs are powerful enough to run most games at constant 120+ fps in 1440p, hopefully dlss/fsr can bridge the gap in GPU power to actually enjoy high refresh rate gaming in QHD and 4k 144hz monitors.
In the end most people wouldn’t buy 3090 just to enjoy gaming with 1440p 144hz monitors, they’d rather play in 4k 60hz or get 3060ti/3070 and enjoy 1080p 144hz.
