Gskill ram rma issue

I bought G.Skill RAM from Amazon last year. The Amazon account which I used for that purchase no longer exists, but I have messages confirming I bought the item. I contacted Amazon, and they told me that there’s no way for them to access the invoices from a deleted account. Although I already filed an RMA, G.Skill already accepted the RMA and sent me an email telling me to ship it to Taiwan. I was screwed by India Post with the international shipping. These frauds, with their crappy 90s-era website, couldn’t show me my order, and the payment which I made was gone for some reason. And now I’m stuck with insane RAM prices where I couldn’t even replace the faulty ram and couldn’t ship the RAM to Taiwan. I have screenshots of the payment made to India Post for that payment. By the way, this was a few weeks before RAM prices started going crazy, so I’m not trying to bank on the increased current prices.
What should I do? Is there any other way to ship these rams to taiwan at cheap?

You need to use FedEx which is trustworthy since you will get fully functional RAM as replacement which is a big + in today’s situation.

Ordinary post. That’s where you pack the items, weigh them, calculate postage for international and buy stamps and paste them in the package.

There’s no tracking, but it’s very cheap. I sent a few hundred packages this way over the years, only a few ended up coming back because the address was invalid, everything else was delivered.

You will need to fill out a customs declaration form otherwise the package will be returned to you.

Tell the post office it’s “ordinary post” and they’ll understand. It’ll take between two to six weeks.

The other option is Aramex, if they’re still around.

2 times Corsair sent me 300R replacements like front panel connectors and side panel within 7 days of me sending them invoice via FedEx..

Wouldn’t that cost quite a lot.

To ship via fedex is costly. Corsair sent me the packages not me.
I think what @rsaeon said is probably right.
Sending through normal post or Air mail through India Post is much much cheaper than fedex.

Is there any video or guide explaining this? Also isn’t normal post done by indiapost as well? I went to one near gvk but they rejected it saying they don’t ship electronics. I went to post office in masab tank next and the customs guy was really understanding. Process sounded pretty lengthy at that time so I gave up considering rams weren’t that expensive back then

Then dont tell them its electronics but costly books.

The Humayun Nagar Post Office is the FPO for Hyderabad, Foreign Post Office, you don’t need to go anywhere else to send.

If it’s ordinary post, you don’t even need to explain anything, just go in from the side entrance (not the business center) and say you have a parcel for ordinary post and they’ll tell you which basket to drop it into.

But for this you’ll need to weigh at home and buy stamps from the General Post Office in Abids or online.

Anything else (speedpost, EMS) you’ll need to open the parcel and explain, but there are no screenings or inspections for ordinary post.

But you will need a customs declaration form pasted on the outside:

I’ve shipped game consoles to France, processors to Yemen and stickers to Japan, all through ordinary post and a bunch of stamps.

Yes, Corsair service is very good. IMO.

and the post after that.

Can I also use the customs form which you made? Btw what do declare the items as, gifts? And any of these stamps should work I believe

Yes the declaration and value needs to be accurate, I think it counts as a legal document. I’ve never faced any issues with whatever I wrote, I never used gift.

That form is a standard form, every country uses some variation of it.

You’ll need Rs 25 or Rs 50 and above stamps, otherwise it’ll cover the entire package. It’s a few hundred for something like two sticks of ram.

please confirm : g-skill memory always has to be shipped to Taiwan for RMA? Irrespective of where/who (in this country) you bought it from.

You can rma them locally at acro but I didn’t have bill so they rejected it
