Not Price Related but I’ve usually heard mixed reviews about Green Soul mainly relating the durability of the chair is not as much as you’d want. I’d suggest if you are on the light weight side say <75kg then it should be fine, but if you’re on the heavier side then expect more wear & tear (mainly with the cushion) by a year. The sad part is that there aren’t really much alternatives in this similar price point of 5-6k.

Any idea about green soul jupiter superb available @ Rs 7000 AFTER OFFER in comparison to this?
just get Featherlite Astro, been using that for more than 3 years and I’m definitely on the heavier side, its still just as good as day one, no issues with wheels, Cushion too doesnt show any wear aside from dust being permanently settled around the edges
so should I cancel the order for Zodiac superb which is going to be delivered tomorrow @ Rs 5990 ?

I am using this for last 3 years. Daily sitting of around 10+hrs. No issues with chair. Removed the headrest as it serves no substantial purpose, better get this chair without the headrest option and save some money.

is it good for back support too? actually I want chair for same sitting around 8 to 10 hours daily..
height of person is 6 feet and weight is 79kg
Astro can be had for 8.5-9K in sales, more expensive but worth it imo
you need to check out your local market and try some chairs out, what fits for one, does not necessarily fit for others as well, that being you shouldnt have too many issues from a durability standpoint, any chair will easily be able to bear your weight

Are these chairs all mass imported from china and just slapped with a different brand name by the importer?
There are a lot of brands selling what appears to be the same chair (which green soul sells as “green soul zodiac”)
Examples- 1 || 2 || and many more…
Even for the “featherlite astro” that the other person linked, green soul sells one that looks the same named “green soul jupiter”
Are there any differences among these products apart from the branding?
The only one that has some what unique looking models is Godrej interio
Apologies for necro’ing an old thread but that’s actually a good point you’ve discovered there. Most of these brands like WakeFit, Green Soul, DaUrban on Amazon, and even Kreo’s Actus chair, are really just Chinese drop-shipped chairs with brand labels and redesigns done for the Indian market. I suspect the same for SuperErgo. Hard to find decent reviews for those chairs besides the testimonials on the website.
They are still good chairs but of course, your experience may vary on the use of these chairs. Wakefit has experience centers where you could sit and test these chairs out. Same with The Sleep Company and Featherlite in some cities. I found the mid range Sleep Company chairs to be super comfortable, but I can’t justify the price tag for it.
I’ve also considered reaching out to office liquidators in Bangalore for chairs made by international brands like Herman Miller, Haworth, Steelcase, etc, with prices that range from 30K to 2L for brand new ones as such dealers would sell them at a fraction of their cost. Only issue with it is that you’d end up paying extra for shipping in some instances, usually 1.5K-2K, depends on weight.
For your budget, I’d recommend the Steelcase Personality chair off of Toqri
A friend of mine has this chair and he’s happy with it. However, it would help if you’re able to go there and sit on it to find a good one. Partly the reason why I never went through with the purchase myself.
Settled on a chair from a local furniture dealer instead in my case.
