For the best sound quality from these budget speakers, position them so they are angled toward your ears, with each speaker placed at an equal distance from you.

Sure, will test them on the weekend and post here.
Got The Pebble Plus 2.1, And found out I completely ignored the size barely had space on my table for them.
These get loud enough for music for my 12x12 room. Will look for some EQ for these, using them at 80% desktop and 50% speaker volume for now.
The sound is clear enough, Played a random sound test video on Yt to test and the woofer made my table vibrate so much I got a foot massage. ![]()
Bro that’s awesome. How have you powered the set?
I was going to buy this, last minute went out of stock. Only one piece left now, if anyone wants.
Picked up this instead @ 489rs
(Refurbished) HP DHS-2111 Wired Speaker : Amazon.in: Computers & Accessories
Had to replace damaged logitech z120 quick. No comparison. Will keep these though.
Would’ve like to pick up the pebble instead. Next time.
With USB plugged into my pc. But might need to switch to a charger.
IMHO will need a 5v 2a adaptor to use it at its full potential.
Pls let us know difference with an adaptor and high/low power switch.
Sure, Will test it on the weekend.
There is a 5v line in the SMPS . one can get a 5v adapter to USB for the speakers .
Using a 2A adapter is not going to make much of a difference , reason is 5v . RMS rating of the amp will still be the same .
5v 2A is recommended on their website.
Creative Pebble Plus 2.1 | USB Speakers with Subwoofer
The amp has a high gain setting to be used with more power.
I could be wrong.
I was talking about the HP speaker . Not creative . With regard to the creative one I am not sure what is the need for a high low power button instead of bundling the speaker with an el-cheapo 5v 2A power supply .
I agree.
The hp are 2/3w speakers and bought them knowing they will work with any usb source. They turned out to be smaller than i thought, will not recommend but happy with the price paid. Will be used by my 10 yr old son for teams (random school from home days) clear vocals and some old retro games.
The creative should have given a power adaptor. I don’t understand this either. I’m sure there are so many negative reviews with ppl just not knowing to add a proper adaptor.
Usb 2.0 (pc/laptop) powered 2.1 speakers are a gimmick.
Next time will either buy the creative 2.1 with a proper adaptor (waiting for OP to give thumbs up) or look for used edifier 2.1 on olx at around the same price 3-3.5k.
My logitech z120 sounded amazing for what they are. They just got old and i damaged one cone/speaker while moving them around recently. Would buy these again for under 1.5k. The creatives look more premium though.
On a seperate note. I bought this from the marketplace here for 650rs recently. Should be 1k new now. This is overkill for my sons setup and when I also damaged the z120 while testing. This somehow is better than all my usb speakers and at par with my old jbl flip 1. Very loud. I gave it to my mom, she is happy.
You can also technically upgrage the sats to full range ones. It would be costlier though. Check diyaudiocsrt if interested.
I am very much interested to diy the z120 now. The amp is working fine and the knob is a bit scratchy, cleaning should fix this. Some videos to open/check
The guy kind of butchered the whole enclosure.
This one is in another language. Looks easier here.

I live in delhi and think a trip to lajpat rai market will solve this for me. Don’t have the time now or even the energy to go just for this. Will prefer to repair my speaker with tape/glue from the inside or buy new/similar and shoehorn it myself somehow.
I was going to use the govo to frankenstein something but it turned out to be much better than I expected.
Here is a few pics of all my speakers together, to give a sense of size and the damage. The right speaker (with knob) has some damage on top but sounds fine, the left speaker is crumpled but no holes, sounds cracked. I think I have to tape/glue silver part with the black surround and seal the gaps that have formed. Won’t look new anymore but should sound like they did.
Guys any recommendations for below 10k budget
Prices are all over the place online with edificer
It might feel good but the vibrations are not optimal.
Adjust the position of the speakers very well (Trial & Error) and play a single song to test out before EQ.
Currently I’m using the Creative SBS 370 2.1 in perfect condition. I’m planning to upgrade to the Creative Pebble Plus 2.1, which is newer and has an elevated position. Is it worth upgrading for clarity and is the bass in the Pebble really good compared to its size?
Found an OB deal, if you’d guys had pebble plus please share your valuable thoughts.
