Usecase - beard (half of the times i trim it fully, otherwise trim with 3-4mm attachment)and body, have mi beard trimmer that i got in 2020 but its blade aren’t sharp enough now, i got mg7920 from croma but had to return because of qc issues, the build quality felt way inferior to my old trimmer and the body attachment wouldn’t work properly for grown up hairs, i am someone who doesn’t cut them regularly. The trimming on face was a lot better but I am not sure if it is because the Philips one is actually a better product or the blades of my old trimmer were old and were not working properly.
I have no experience with one blade turbo model but looking from the spec sheet it will help for zero trimming, also has some attachments that I can use to not trim the beard fully there There are also body attachments with it
I have been using Philips One Blade non-turbo version for few years. And it’s simply great. Charging lasts quite long. Trims smoothly and reaches the nooks of jaw.
The only catch is that every other year I have to buy new blades for it. That costs around 600, so it’s a recurring cost. Trimmers with self-sharpening blades are cheaper in the long run. Not sure if anything changed in Turbo version.
I have the 7 in 1 multi grooming 3000 series model from Philips. Won’t give absolute 0 trim but body/beard I use, really good.. sharp blades. only con is charging takes 12 hours for 30 mins charge.
